Ethem Hakan Gunel

Ethem Hakan Gunel is currently working as a Senior Freight Advisor for UIC. He is acting a project manager in EU projects and UIC projects. As he is a rolling stock expert, He has experience in operation, maintenance and test & commissioning subjects. Besides these experience, he served voluntarily as the Head of the Railway Applications Committee at the Turkish Standards Institute for a period of seven years. Graduating with honors from Gaziantep University's Mechanical Engineering program in 1995, he is distinguished as the patent holder for his pioneering research entitled “A Method for Detection of Wheel Flatten Defect on A Moving Train.
