Mr. Livingston has spent the last 27 years designing, constructing and maintaining heavy haul, freight and passenger railways. Jason currently leads the organisational engineering capability and asset management of the Central Queensland Coal Network (CQCN) rail infrastructure, which underpins the largest bulk coal supply chain in the southern hemisphere. Jason is deeply invested in modernising and developing the technical capability of the rail industry.  As the Vice President of the Permanent Way Institute (QLD), Jason has been connecting the geographically-spread railway community through regular technical presentations and networking sessions. Jason is passionate about mentoring and the development of the next generation of our rail engineers.  

Jason has served with the IHHA as a director since 2021 and currently lives in Brisbane, Australia.
