Wang Tongjun, senior engineer, is currently the president of China Railway Society（CRS）and a leader in the field of railway science and technology and construction management in China. Graduated from Beijing Jiaotong University with a bachelor's degree in railway transportation, he has been deeply involved in the fields of railway transportation, engineering construction and transportation infrastructure for a long time, and has a solid professional theoretical foundation and systematic engineering practice literacy.

He was the deputy general manager of China National Railway Group Co., Ltd.（CR）, coordinating the construction of major railway projects, technological innovation and industry standard system construction. Since serving as the president of CRS, he has comprehensively led the strategic planning and high-quality development of the society, and built an important platform for academic exchanges, scientific and technological empowerment and talent training in the railway industry. 

As the main founder of China's intelligent high-speed railway system, he took the lead in organizing the research and engineering application of a complete set of key technologies such as intelligent construction, intelligent equipment, and intelligent operation, and presided over the construction of the world's first intelligent high-speed railway—Beijing-Zhangjiakou high-speed railway. At the same time, it presided over and participated in the independent research of key technologies of core infrastructure such as type III ballastless track and traction power supply system, making significant contributions to the independent and controllable core technology of China's high-speed railway.
